Dr. Kereshi is a clinical psychologist specializing in individual therapy, assessments, consultations, presentations and supervision. She maintains a private practice in Columbia, Maryland.
With over 15 years experience in the mental health field, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are trauma, sexual disorders and dysfunction, depression, anxiety, and women's issues.
In addition to being a prominent therapist, Dr. Kereshi also served as Clinical Director of an internationally recognized psychiatric care facility for Catholic clergy, women religious, and religious brothers as well as the laity.

Education and Experience
Dr. Kereshi graduated from Colgate University in 1999 with a double concentration in psychology and women's studies (Bachelor of Arts). She received her Masters of Science degree in 2004 from Pacific University. In 2007, she received her doctoral degree from Pacific University.
She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Springfield Hospital Center in Maryland.
Her training and experience includes college counseling center, outpatient therapy, forensic settings, a Dialectical Behavior Therapy clinic and a state inpatient psychiatric hospital. Her clinical services include group therapy, EMDR, psychological evaluation and facilitation of psycho-educational groups. As former clinical director of St. Luke Institute, Dr. Kereshi oversaw Caritas Counseling, Halfway House, Continuing Care and the short- and long-term residential programs for men and women.
License and Certification
Dr. Kereshi is a licensed psychologist in the state of Maryland.
She is a certified EMDR provider through the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). EMDRIA is a professional association where EMDR practitioners and EMDR researchers seek the highest standards for the clinical use of EMDR therapy.
